The Bali Blue whole bean transported me to the island of it's namesake. It is definitely a complex flavor profile; rich fruity and chocolate with the damp earth and forest floor blending together to make a nirvana in my cup. I brewed it using a Chemex and drank it black. I normally drink one cup (20 oz) each morning, but I had two! I couldn't get enough!
40oz of Bali Blue to start the day sounds Fah King amazing! Thanks for the great review!
So while giving this bag o' beans a try I self ground the beans and put them through a hot drip brewer and also a cold brew process. What was good was the real rich earthy and natural tones that came out through the hot drip brewing process. I mixed with an unflavored creamer and enjoyed the extremely smooth taste. There cold brew was even better, instead of course ground I prefer fine grind for my cold brew to bring out more flavor and smooth out the flavors even more. The result was one of the best afternoon coffee on ice that I have ever had. 10/10 I will try this bag again.
A TEN! A FAH KING TEN! Thanks for the awesome review!
Very flavorful blend, somewhat complex. Lots of notes of wood, earth, chocolate, and coffee. Very tasty, more on the bold side, but I like it strong. Definitely going on my rotation. This one will definitely wake you and your taste buds up!
That's a lot of Fah King delicious tasting notes! Thanks for the fantastic review!
